Before asking for a quote
[ ] Record make, model, year, number of vehicles, and general neighborhood.
[ ] Note the finish: glossy paint, matte paint, wrap, film, ceramic coating, or unknown.
[ ] Separate your top priority from optional improvements.
[ ] Describe existing damage, recent repainting, stains, pet hair, or unusual materials.

Before confirming the appointment
[ ] Agree on a written scope, price, travel terms, and any exclusions.
[ ] Confirm private workspace permission, access, clearance, and shade requirements.
[ ] Ask what water, power, and drainage arrangements are required.
[ ] Confirm weather contingencies, approximate time, payment, and cancellation terms directly.
[ ] Disclose property rules and arrange access privately; do not publish gate codes.

Before work begins
[ ] Remove valuables, documents, loose electronics, and personal belongings.
[ ] Remove child seats yourself if needed, following their manufacturer instructions.
[ ] Point out fragile controls, loose trim, existing damage, or surfaces to avoid.
[ ] Agree on whether any vehicle or property photographs may be used.

At handover
[ ] Review the agreed scope together in useful lighting.
[ ] Ask about curing, first wash, and product-specific aftercare.
[ ] Record the date, services performed, and protective products actually applied.
